At Snow Camp, we believe in the power of snowsports to inspire, transform, and empower young people. But we don’t do it alone. Partners like Snow+Rock are an integral part of our journey, helping us provide life-changing opportunities for young people across the UK.
Through their collaboration with the Pennies donation scheme, Snow+Rock, Cotswold Outdoor, and Runners Need have created a powerful platform that transforms everyday shopping into acts of generosity. Together, we’re proving that spare change has the power to change young lives for the better.
Throughout all of January, February and March 2025, Snow+Rock, Cotswold Outdoor, and Runners Need in-store customers can now make small, optional microdonations at the checkout; helping to raise vital funds to bring snowsports – and the life-changing opportunities they create – to even more young people across the UK!
For us at Snow Camp, this partnership represents much more than financial support. It’s about building a community of individuals and businesses who share our belief that every young person deserves the chance to reach their full potential. The launch of this partnership marks a fresh chapter in our journey, and we couldn’t be more excited to see the impact it will have.
With Snow+Rock by our side, 2025 is set to be a year of growth, transformation, and possibility for Snow Camp and the young people we serve.

The Pennies donation scheme is a simple but impactful idea. When customers shop with Snow+Rock, they can choose to round up their total at checkout to donate a few pence to Snow Camp. It’s effortless, quick, and entirely optional.
Yet, those small donations quickly add up to something extraordinary. Each penny given helps fund Snow Camp’s programmes, which take young people from under-served communities onto the slopes, many for the very first time. From ski lessons to life skills workshops and mental health support, these experiences open doors to a future many never imagined was possible.
In partnership with Cotswold Outdoor and Runners Need, Snow+Rock has rallied its customers to join our mission. Together, we’ve seen that when individuals come together, even the smallest gestures of kindness can create waves of change.
At Snow Camp, we often say that snowsports are just the beginning. They’re the gateway to skills like resilience, teamwork, and determination – qualities that last long after the snow has melted.

The funds raised will enable us to expand our programmes, reach new communities, and will inspire hundreds of young people each year.

For the young people who come through Snow Camp, their first steps on the snow are often much more than a fun activity – they’re the start of something profound. Many of these young people face immense challenges, from living in deprived communities to struggling with mental health issues, low confidence, or a lack of opportunity.
But with the support of Snow+Rock and the Pennies scheme, we’re able to give them a life-changing opportunity:

Take Leggy, for example. His journey showcases the transformative power of stepping beyond comfort zones. When Leggy joined Snow Camp Midlands in 2022, he was shy and unsure of himself. But with determination, the right support, and his own hard work, he began to thrive. Fast forward, and Leggy has achieved remarkable milestones, becoming a BASI Level 1 and Adaptive Instructor, specialising in helping snowboarders with disabilities.

Today, he’s a valued team member at SnowDome Tamworth, sharing his passion for snowboarding and inspiring the next generation to dream big. Leggy’s story is a powerful reminder of how perseverance, opportunity, and community support can spark lasting change.
